30th September 2000

Friday morning was a quiet and relaxing morning - I didn't do too much, showered, made eggy on toast for breakfast and spied on the hunk who lives across the street.

The hunk. OK, so it's not the worlds best picture....

I was trying to be discreet so he wouldn't see me taking pics. This was the best one. But if anyone wants some close-up pics of the hedge, give me a shout.

I'd arranged to meet Joe on Friday evening, but he had a crisis at work, and couldn't make it - so I just stayed in and chilled with Jim and Jason. We were all pretty tired, so we all went to bed quite early.

Saturday morning started quite early - before noon infact.... so Jim decided it was a good time to clean house. Jason had gone to work early, so we had the place to ourselves. He started in the kitchen.

Jim cleaning in the kitchen.

Jim still cleaning in the kitchen.

I helped the process by taking pictures. Oh, and I dusted all the cobwebs from the ceilings. There were quite a few.

The living room wasn't far behind....

Still the living room....

After a hard morning of domestic chores, we (Jim) decided to do a little retail therapy.... he knew I wanted to buy a new hanky, so we hit CompUSA - a computer store. They didn't have any hankies, so I had to just wander round with Jim looking at tons of stuff I couldn't afford. Such is life.

A computer shop. Amazingly.

After Jim had bought three new computers, we headed off to look for a hanky - and ended up in Old Navy. The shop was in the process of being refurbished, and most of the floor space was blocked off, but there was a choice of 2 hankies. Even though one of them was used.

Of course, Jim escapes laundry duty by just owning enough clothes to throw them away after wearing them once. So he had to try on some more.

Jim. Trying on more clothes.

We eventually got back from shopping, and Jason arrived home shortly afterwards. We had all planned to go out for a meal together, but Jason didn't feel like it, so me and Jim went on our own. When we got back, Jason had worked himself up to going to Sacremento, so we all jumped in the car and drove for an hour to get there..... we didn't get home until after 3am....

*sniff* goin' home tomorrow.... *wails uncontrollably*
